I left my watch in a bag with a bottle of lotion, and now long story short the links are rather stuck together and it has lost some of its finish. Would like to here suggestions for the best way to clean it up and restore its finish/shine and what products to use.

Everytime I wear it out for a day then take it off, I get this unattractive black mark around my wrist. What’s the best way to clean between the links?
Uhh the watch was $400AUD. Don’t make assumptions on things you don’t know
